Jan - Feb 2009 - Publishers Message:
Finally this past winter is over and spring is in the air. Last year I told you we had some killer stuff coming in 2009 and this issue is a perfect example of what I meant. You asked for fire, Ed Hubbs brings us some great examples of real fire at its best. Wait till you see all the kool stuff this issue contains; PT Cruisers, Kustom Kulture Art, lots of pinstriping and eye kandy galore. Mr. J and Matt Atomik bring us some informative how-tos. We also have a great intro to airbrushing by Chris MacMahan, Legendary Brushes by Herb Martinez and a supurb article on surviving in this economy by Brian "The Brush" Briskie.
Putting together these magazines is truly a thrill and pleasure and seeing all the incredible artwork when it arrives is nothing short of amazing. Trying to determine what goes in sometimes is a major chore. We try to bring you the industry's best accomplishments. I hope you feel the same and keep your subscription active. I realize these are rough times and we truly appreciate your continued support and input.
Keep in touch, remember you can share your comments, ask questions, post pictures of your work, and stay connected to the industry on our website's discussion board at www.autoartmagazine.com.
You may notice a few extra good points about our magazine; 1) we're not stuffed full of catalog-type advertising. 2) You never have to pick up those annoying cards that fall on the ground when you open it. 3) We always take extra effort to make sure your issues arrive in good condition by enclosing them in a protective polybag. 4) You can now purchase sold out issues on CD and have the entire collection.
I'd like to take a moment and welcome back PPG Automotive Finishes and thank them for their continuing support. Make sure to visit their website, which is now available along with links to all of our advertisers on AutoArt's main page. Enough from me, enjoy this issue. Take Care…
Enjoy another great issue of AutoArt Magazine and here's my next tip…
